Roth Contribution/ Proration Rule
Married couple wants to do a backdoor Roth IRA due to high income , Wife has rollover IRA’s Husband does not, he only has a rollover Roth IRA. Since they are married filing jointly does this disallow him him from making a backdoor Roth contribution, since she is ineligible since she has a rollover IRA.
Thanks

Since husband has no other non Roth IRA balance, he can do the back door and convert tax free despite wife not being able to do so.
