Can you do a 60 day rollover from an IRA by depositing the funds into a new IRA at the same custodian as the original?
Yes. It doesn’t even have to be a new IRA – the funds can be put back into the old IRA, if it still exists.

Certainly. There is no requirement that the rollover be to a different custodian. The rollover can be to any IRA or qualified retirement plan that accepts rollovers.
