Hello,
A client has an IRA with us and transferred $100k of it to a SPIA (Penn Mutual) this year. Do withdrawals from the SPIA count towards her 2023 RMD?

Yes, they will count and the rest of the 2023 RMD must be taken from the non annuity IRA.
