Since ANY benefit received from the charity for a QCD disqualifies the QCD entirely, if the person receives any benefit from the charity it must be related solely to the volunteer position. The IRA owner must obtain the usual acknowledge from the charity for the QCD indicating there is no benefit for the donor.
