72T Calculations/Distributions

My question is if a 72T calculation has been run in a prior year, and then it is found in the following tax year that the amount requested was not correct, can this be changed in any way even though the distribution has been completed already?



The technical answer is that you cannot change the distribution, but there may be a work around in a few situations that may avoid a busted plan. What was the the start date of the 72t, the annual calculation indicated amount, and the amount actually distributed.

And what caused the amount taken to be incorrect?
