NQ Annuity Trust Stretch-out
Apparently one major NQ annuity carrier has applied for a PLR to allow a stretch in IRA-Qualified trusts. Has anyone heard of this beeing allowed? Most carriers only allow lump sum or 5-year deferral when a trust is the bene at owner’s death.

Perhaps Sec 829 of the PPA opened the door here. 829 covers 403 and 457 plans as well as qualified plans, so now the insurance companies want to retain NQ assets longer as well.
