After having a licensed assistant leave, I have found that an account that they had worked on the transfer process had gone from being coded as a simple to a sep. the funds in the simple had been there over two years. ( 100k plus) they were coded into the sep as “transfer monies.” i have does anyone have any knowledge of how the irs will view this? the account was opened just under one year ago and funded in beginning of 2007. there have also been current year contributions going into this account. any input would be appreciated.
