can medicaid go after the cash value in a spouses life insurance policy?
ex: wife goes into nursing home, husband not enough money to pay for home so has to go on medicare. medicaid makes her give up her assets or half of total assets?
does the life ins cash value count towards those or either assets?

but if she doesn’t have any life ins and goes on medicaid, can medicaid go after his cash value in his life policy?

No the cash value is not included.
