Modified Adjusted Gross Income Calc

I’m having trouble figuring out the easiest way to calculate someone’s modified adjusted gross income. Can someone offer assistance?

I suggest just using the worksheets in Pub 590. Note that MAGI is calculated differently for Roth purposes than for traditional IRA purposes. The TIRA worksheet is on p 17, the Roth worksheet is on p 61.

If you are using tax software, it will probably do this job for you.
