Roll my IRA into an employers plan

I have some IRA’S with Wachovia and I am approaching 70, can I roll them into my employers 457 plan, my accountant can find no authority to do so. Can you advise me of the rule that allows me to make the transfer.

Thank you

Following is a link to the current plan portability chart. Rollover to a GOVERNMENT 457b has been permitted since 2002, however only if the plan accepts incoming rollovers. The plan is not required to accept these rollovers, and can ONLY accept pre tax amounts, ie no non deductible contributions.
