Defined contribution limits
If a person is participating in two different companies 401(k) plans, are they limited to 15,500 maximum salary deferral (under age 50) in both plans combined or 15,500 per 401(k) plan for 2008?
Also, does it matter if they have an ownership stake in one of the companies but no ownership interest in the other?

They are limited to 15,500 combined over all the plans in which they participate. Ownership in any employer does not increase the limit.
