Roth Conversions

I have a client that wants to do a Roth Conversion for 2008. Since we are in 2009, I know of no rule that will allow this. Am I correct?

You are correct a 2008 conversion had to be in process at 12/31/08. The only Roth actions for 2008 still available are contributions that can be made by April 15, 2009.
