non spouse IRA transfer and stretch
A client IRA was being transferred and the client died in the transfer process. The clients brother is the beneficiary. Can the brother stretch the IRA. Is there anything tricky I should be aware of? Thank you ahead of time for your help.

There should not be any problem providing the beneficiary designation is clear for the IRA that is funded at the time of the owner’s death. Or was this being done by indirect rollover?
