Roth Conversion included in AGI limitation
Is the amount converted from an IRA to a Roth IRA included in the $100,000 AGI limitation? In other words if someone’s AGI is under $100,000 could the conversion of an IRA to a Roth IRA take them over the limit so they are not able to make the conversion?

The conversion amount does NOT count in figuring the 100,000 modified AGI. The conversion amount also does not count in determining modified AGI for regular Roth IRA contributions.
Therefore, someone cannot disqualify themselves from doing a Roth conversion or regular Roth contribution by the conversion itself.
