Qualified Charitable Distributions
I realize that, under current law, QCDs expire in tax year 2009. 🙁 Has anyone heard of any proposed legislation or discussions to consider reinstating this distribution for future years? It appears that Congress has a number to tax items to consider in 2010.

The QDC would be extended for one more year under the House Bill that passed, but the Senate needs to act on this and will do so when they return. Being an election year, this has a real good chance at enactment:
