RMD out of one bene IRA while 2 bene IRA is established

Hello,

deceased IRA acct holder assets are moved into 2 son’s bene IRA and then half of that is transfered to an annuity IRA as a bene IRA and the other half stays in the bene IRA that was originally established.

Could son show the RMD satisfied directly just from the one bene IRA and be OK on that and not do any RMD from the other bene IRA established as an anuuity for him?

Yes, since both accounts were inherited from the same decedent.
