Qualified Charitable Distributions (QCD)
Can QCD’s from IRA’s still be made? If so do the old rules still apply, e.g. minimum age 70, no deduction, etc. Also can 403b plans be donated?

QCD’s are not allowed in 2010 under current law. I personally rather doubt the law will change in the last three months of this year. However, I have been surprised by changes made by Congress late in prior years. 😉

Stay tuned for last minute tax changes. My current estimate is about a 40% chance for the extenders bill that includes the QCD. But don’t expect 403b plans to be included since only owned and inherited IRAs were included in the original provisions and prior extensions.
