i have a doctor with over $100,000 student loan and was told his intrest paid is tax deductiable true?



Student loan interest is an adjustment to income on line 33 of Form 1040 within the qualifications listed for line 33. Those qualifications can be found on page 32 of the instructions booklet for Form 1040 available online at http://www.irs.gov. The adjustment, if available, is limited to $2,500 per year.
