Spousal Privileges versus Domestic Partner

The special privileges that a spouse has, such as being able to roll over an inherited plan, making the plan their own, or even if remaining a beneficiary, not having to take RMDs until the deceased would have turned 70 1/2, and so forth, do any of those privileges apply to a domestic partner? I don’t beleive they do but I’m not sure.

Thanks,

Lee

No. A registered domestic partner is not a spouse for federal purposes.
