Not yet, but the last two times the QCD was due to expire Congress extended it retroactively for the year. This time, they have several other things to deal with, so who knows what will happen with the QCD.In 2010, they were so late they allowed a 2010 QCD to be made as late as Jan 31 of 2011. If they don’t extend it, they don’t but if they do at the last minute they will probably have a similar extension for the taxpayer.Taxpayers need extensions to complete returns. Now Congress needs extensions to make tax laws.
