My IRA

I want to consolidate & stop my Simple IRA into my Roth. TD Ameritrade is telling me I cannot convert my Simple IRA. Please tell me if can or not. I want to move all the money into an IRA then to the Roth. What does it take to get this done? Tracy Spaeth

You can convert directly from a SIMPLE IRA to a Roth IRA (or via TIRA to Roth IRA) once you have met the 2 year waiting period. Perhaps TD is telling you that you have not met that requirement yet??
