QCD
In March 2012 I made a direct rollover of my 401k to an established TIRA I have with the same financial institution. As instructed by them, I took 401k RMD out before the account could be rolled over. Does taking that 401K RMD out disqualify me from making a QCD for the current year?

No, the rollover to an IRA and RMD distribution have no affect on your making a QCD now for 2013 from the rollover IRA or any other IRA you might have. For 2013, if you want to make a QCD from your TIRA, make the QCD before taking out any other money from the TIRA. The QCD can be more or less than your RMD, but if you want it to include your RMD you must do the QCD first,
