Issues when employee takes a leave of absence under a SIMPLE IRA
If an employee takes a leave of absence (say for medical reasons) then comes back a year or so later to the same employer are there any issues with making contributions to a SIMPLE IRA? For example, do they have to wait until the next calendar year to start making contributions or do they just pick up where they left off?

They do not have to wait until the following calendar year to make SIMPLE IRA contributions.
