Roth IRA
I have a lady that is married, but is filing separate from her husband. She makes $92,000 a year. Would she qualify for a Roth IRA?

Not unless she lived apart from her husband the entire year. Otherwise, the Roth income phaseout ends at only 10k of modified AGI on her separate return. However, she can still make a non deductible TIRA contribution and convert it tax free IF she has no other non Roth IRA balance.
