What are the deadlines involved for a client making a SIMPLE IRA contribution to an existing SIMPLE IRA account ?? (Either employer or employee)

  • Self employed with no employees – Jan 30th of the following year
  • Salary reduction contributions for employees – 30 days from the end of the month in which salary is paid
  • Employer matching or non elective contributions – by the extended due date for the tax return
