Roth IRA contribution withdrawl waiting period
Hi,
If I contribute x amount to my Roth IRA. Does the contribution amount have a waiting period of 5 years before I can withdraw it without any penalty? Assume that I am not 59 1/2 when I am taking the withdrawal. I know the earnings has to wait until 5 years later and 59 1/2.
Thanks
Julia

You can withdraw your regular Roth contributions anytime without tax or penalty. No waiting period.
