Apparently they are. See “in re Ard” case in this listing and reference to FL legislation protecting inherited IRAs in bankruptcy. But the beneficiary must file for BK which exposes other assets. http://trustbryancave.com/are-inherited-iras-protected-in-bankruptcy/
