Back Door Roth IRA, spouse has traditional IRA

Wife has no traditional IRA (she has a Roth IRA), husband has traditional and Roth IRA. If wife opens traditional IRA and does back door Roth IRA contribution through her new traditional IRA is she affected by the husbands traditional IRA via the pro rata rule? They file taxes MFJ.

Thanks!

Not affected. Her 8606 only includes valuations for her own IRAs. Her conversion should be mostly or entirely tax free.
