IRA tax free distributions for health insurance premiums
I have read somewhere(but can’t remember the source) that there is a new tax regulation allowing tax free distributions from traditional IRAs if used to pay health care premiums(I am 63 years old). Is this true?

Not tax free, just penalty free, and since you are over 59.5, you are already exempt from the penalty. The penalty exception is also not new for those under 59.5.
