Maximum possible total of nondeductible contributions.
If we a assume a taxpayer has max funded their Traditional IRA with nondeductible contributions ever since that was possible (1987 I believe), what is the maximum amount of nondeductible contributions they could have through the 2014 tax year?
Also assuming they have been covered by a retirement this entire time period and have never taken a distribution of any sort or rolled in after-tax money from a 401k, etc.
Thanks,
Robert
