401(k) & simple IRA contribution limits
I have a client who has a solo 401(k) & now also works for a company that has a Simple IRA. He is going to max out the Simple contribution at $15,500. Can he then contribute $8,500 to his solo 401(k)as employee deferral to get to the $24,000 limit? He has earnings of about $140,000 from his self employment.
