RMDs with Multiple (Rollover) IRAs ?
I rolled my company 401k out into a Rollover IRA about 10 years ago with TDAmeritrade as the custidion.
Today some of the money is in a “managed account” with a 3rd party manager having the ability to “trade” it (not TDAmeritrade) and some is simply in a TDAmeritrade account I manage myself. Again all the money has TDAmeritrade as the “custidion” with some I manage and some a management firm has access to only to make buy/sell decisions. I hope that is clear.
Q. When it comes to making MRDs, can I take the required annual “distribution” from any one of the accounts? Or do I have to take some of it from each of the separate accounts.
TIA

Your RMD can be distributed in any combination you choose from the various IRA accounts. This would also hold true if you had an IRA at a totally unrelated firm.
