401-k catch up age 50 1/2
client is 48 now.
In July 7th of 2018 he will be 50
a. does he have to wait until he is 50 in July 2018 to contribute his catch up to his 401k?
or…
b. Can he start his catchup on his 401k in January 2018, even though he won’t be 50 until July?

He can start in January of 2018.
