Distribution
Hi, I have a brokerage IRA account that contains a mix of equities and mutual funds. I am over 59.5 and want to take a distribution. Do you have any suggestions on how to determine which product to liquidate so that I can receive my distribution? Thanks. Eric

You can use the distribution to re balance what is left in accord with your asset allocation. For example, if you are holding too much in stocks, sell the stock or stock fund that appears to not have the best prospects going forward. Of course, the more different holdings you have the more sceening you will have to do.
