Backdoor ROTH IRA

If you have already contirbuted maximum of 18,500 to 401K ROTH, can you still contribute to back door ROTH?

Yes, you can. As long as you have earned income (or a spouse does) and are not yet 70.5, you can make a non deductible TIRA contribution.

Thanks

You could do an additional $36,500 of non-deductible contributions to a solo 401(k) right? Then do an XL Back Door Roth?

Yes, if the solo K form allows after tax non Roth contributions.
