Can Deferred Compensation go into Roth
Hello.
I received some deferred compensation from a NQDC account. I have no other earned income for the year. Can I put money into a Roth IRA based on the deferred compensation?
Thanks.

If this income will be reported on a W-2 with an amount in Box 11, the Box 11 amount must be subtracted from the Box 1 amount to determine the earned income for IRA contributions.
