IRA RMD CHARITABLE CONTRIBUTION FROM AN INHERITED IRA RMD?
I KNOW YOU CAN SEND THE RMD FROM YOUR IRA TO A CHARITY AND NOT GET TAXED FOR IT.
BUT CAN YOU DO THE SAME WITH AN INHERITED IRA RMD TO CHARITY?
THANK YOU
DOUGLAS

Yes, a QCD can be made from an inherited IRA, however the beneficiary still must be 70.5 to do a QCD. Of course, many inherited IRA beneficiaries have not yet reached 70.5.
