Bad advice from CPA?
I have a CPA telling me that the deadline for making an employer contribution to a solo 401(k) is 4/15.
It is a plan for an S-corp. Pretty sure the deadline is 3/15 plus extension (10/15). Am I nuts? What am I missing?

Not as bad as the BAD ADVISE I got from my Doctor that almost killed me!Just because they have letters behind their name doesn’t mean they know what they are talking about. Probably better info “crowd sourced” on this forumn. The internet is the GREATEST!

From the above it’s clear the S-corp employer can make Solo 401k contributions up to 9/15 but what about the sole S-corp owner who’s also the sole employee? Can the S-corp employee make her own deferrals to the Solo 401k up to her tax filing deadline plus extensions (likely 10/15) or is 12/31 of the tax year the deadline?
