Contributing to 401(k)
If I’m a CEO and I retire but my company pays me out over a three year period ($400k+/year) can i make a 401k contribution each year? The income I receive is reported on a w-2.
If not a 401k is there any other deductible or pre-tax account available to me?
Thanks to any and all.

Sale of a company is not wage income. Or do you mean you have other W-2 income?

it’s sale of company stock. is it considered deferred income? not wage income.
