Is it advisable to convert your non-deductible traditional IRA contribution immediately or wait a specific amount of time before converting to a Roth.

There is no reason to wait for any length of time, but if you are rolling your pre tax IRA balance into an employer plan, you should wait until the employer plan has actually accepted the rollover before converting the IRA basis.
