RMD not required for 2020
If a client does not have to take a RMD for 2020, can they do a Roth conversion for the amount of what would have been their RMD for 2020.

Yes. 2020 would be similar to the client’s pre RMD years. They can convert any amount they wish, the amount does not have to related to what the RMD would have been.
