403B Plan sponsor change

I have a client that is still working for the district, has an 403b from one provider who is not longer a provider for her school district. What are her options? Roll it to a IRA? Roll it to her 401K that the district provides?



Technically, this deseleted provider cannot receive contributions, but is still considered to be subject to the employer plan. While still working for the employer, the balance cannot be rolled to an IRA. Client needs to check with the plan to determine if it can be rolled into the current 401k plan.
