Rolling over a 10 yr old 401K to an IRA
I have a client that would like to rollover a 401K account from an old employer. He has not touched it in
10 years and it was set up through New York Life. He only has about 4k in the account. Can this amount
be rolled over into an IRA account or is their a min on the amount that is eligible for rollover.

That plan can be rolled over, and because the balance is over 1000, it must be if the client requests it.
