Minimum QCD check to charity?

What is a good rule of thumb regarding the minimum amount of a check to send to a charity when doing a QCD?

There is no minimum, except possibly those of certain IRA custodians. Given the receipt requirements and the handling and delivery, it is not practical for most people to go under $100 per QCD.
