59 1/2 Move

I just turned 59 1/2 last week and plan to work full time till age 65 and take Soc Sec at 70. My wife will turn 50 next week and has raised our kids and has been a homemaker. I have traditional IRA of 1 million, a roth of 500k and annual pension of 7k. She has a traditional ira of 65k. We have no debt including our home. I am making incremental Roth conversions each year to fill out the 22% bracket and likely won’t be able to convert all by age 72 when RMDs kick in.

Therefore, I plan to take a 7k withdrawal each year from my traditional ira and do a 7k contribution to her traditional ira as long as I have the earned income. That would give a 9 year delay in RMD and spread our assets a bit more.

Any cons to this approach that I should consider?
Thanks.
