printed address on 1099r
if someone has homes in PA and AZ and a 1099r has the printed AZ address on it but claims residence in PA and files in PA does the AZ printed address on the tax docs matter on a fed or state level?

No. If the person is a typical AZ snowbird, spending 2-3 months in AZ in the winter, they would not be required to file an AZ part year return. A non resident return for AZ would only be required if they receive AZ source income, such as from a rental or part time job.
