Changed mind to a different charity for a QCD
Hello,
On May 1, 2021, I requested 3 QCD checks made payable to the charities but sent directly to me so I could give them to each charity personally. I gave the 2 QCD checks to the charities and held back on the one charity. I have changed my mind and no longer wish to give my money to this charity. I would like to have a stop payment made on the QCD check and have it reissued with the same amount but to a different charity. Is there a rule where this is not allowed or is it up to the IRA Custodian that holds my IRA?

There is no rule. It is up to custodian to stop payment, and it would be reasonable to charge you a fee for that. This has no effect on other QCDs you may want to do including the substitute for the check being returned.
