Indirect rollover split among multiple receiving accounts
Client takes a single distribution from IRA 1, and within 60 days of receipt, forwards a portion of that distribution to IRA 2, and the remaining portion to IRA 3.
Client has not busted the once-every-12-months rule, correct? That rule is busted if you take more than one *distribution* from any of your IRAs in a 12-month window and try to indirectly roll over, right?

Yes, you are correct. The number of rollover contributions for a single distribution are unlimited, but if there is more than one distribution, only one can be rolled back to TIRA, although the others could be converted to Roth.
