Obama Care Income Thresholds affected by Roth Conversions?
Hello, a client is looking to do a Roth Conversion, but we do not want to disenroll them from Obama Care Eligibility. Does anyone know if Roth Conversions above these limits (below) will disenroll them from eligibility?
To get assistance under the Affordable Care Act you must earn between 100% – 400% of the poverty level. For 2021, that is $12,760-$51,040 for an individual and $26,200- $104,800 for a family of four.

Yes, the taxable portion of a Roth conversion will be added to most other forms of income for determination of ACA subsidies.
