No RMD at age 80?
Was there something in proposed legislation about stopping RMDs at age 80? We had a client contact us because a family member had mentioned that. We were not aware of anything and thought maybe some version of this had shown up in some proposed legislation for the SECURE Act 2.0 or another piece.

Nothing remotely close to ceasing RMDs at 80 has been proposed. Not starting them until 75 has been proposed to gradually phase in.
